Hefur þú sinnt rannsóknum á háskólakennslu eða kennsluþróun í háskólum. Hefurðu hug á að birta þær niðurstöður? Tveir reyndir ritstjórar frá tímaritinu International Journal for Academic Development (IJAD) sem er tímariti útgefið af ICED (International Consortioum for Educational Development), munu leiða þátttakendur í gengum birtingarferlið. Fjallað verður um það að velja tímarit, afmarka viðfangseefni, að undirbúa gott handrit, bregðast við ritrýni og halda góðum tengslum við ritstjóra. Vinnustofan er öllum opin, bæði nýliðum á sviðið háskólakennslufræða og þeim sem reyndari eru.

Have you conducted research in higher education or academic development? Are you interested in publishing this research? Two senior editors from the International Journal for Academic Development (IJAD), ICED’s journal, will guide you through various processes associated with getting your work published including: choosing the right journal; framing your proposal and preparing a strong manuscript; making your reviewers’ tasks easier from the outset and responding to their feedback appropriately; and maintaining good relationships with the editors. The session is designed for everyone, including those who are new to, or experienced in, writing about higher education and/or academic development.
